LAUAK GROUP (Aerospace division) became within 30 years a major partner of OEM (aircraft and Equipment manufacturers)
and takes part to-day to the key aerospaces programs with AIRBUS, BOMBARDIER, DASSAULT, EMBRAER, EUROCOPTER, HONEYWELL/SECAN, LIEBHERR, IAI/GULFSTREAM as well as the International Space Station together with ALCATEL ALENIA Space.
These past years have been particularly rich in events, such as the implementation (in 2003) of our Portuguesa subsidiary (LAUAK PORTUGUESA), employing to-day nearly 80 people and displaying such a strong growth which should lead in a near future to a transfer of their operations in a larger factory suitable for new important programs.
The efforts of the Group in term of quality have been rewarded by an EN/AS 9100 certification from the BVQI, both for ESKULANAK and LAUAK PORTUGUESA.
LAUAK Group is pursuing on its capital investment policy : 5 axis machining centre, automated lathe, laser cutting, OAC (BF5) surface treatment, passivation, supply chain, and more recently the acquisition of a large size Flexiform press (48000 T, 3x1b1 m).
The willingness of the Group consists in providing its customers with a global service, such as design and development ( in partnership with an engineering office), manufacturing engineering, purchasing and management of subcontractors as well as highly internal integrated operationnal capability.
This kind of strategy is based also on the optimisation of the production costs and a double source capability thanks to its Portuguese facility (LAUAK PORTUGUESA) as well as operation cycles reduced due to the implementation of lean manufacturing process.
On her side, TICEM (industrial sheets metal work) is investing in automation of her industrial means (laser - punching), in high speed / capacity machines, and a 7 axis folding press of the most recent generation.
The LAUAK Group is ready to face the challenges of the next decade both by strengthening its international positioning and developing new technologies.
